Karen captures the beauty, uniqueness and personality of your special canine companion in a life-like portrait painted in oil on canvas, watercolor, or sculpture. These beautiful portraits are custom painted from your favorite photos, and are wonderful keepsakes for a lifetime.
Please provide 3 or more clear photos of your pet taken from their level. Tip: smaller dogs can be photographed on a table (using safety) and larger dogs by kneeling down to take their picture. Outside photos are best in the shade or on a cloudy day. Camera flashes can wash out the color of the coat. Have a friend help by holding the dog on a leash and using treats to get their attention. Hands and collars can be ommitted from the portrait. Please, no professional photos.
Payment is half down to start, balance due after your approval of final portrait. Money orders or personal check accepted.
Gift certificates available.
All photos are returned with the portrait.
Backgrounds are $80 - $200 depending on size and complexity.
Additional subjects are an extra 50% each.
Matting and frames NOT included.
Shipping $5 - $20 depending on size.
Turnaround time varies, usually 4-6 weeks for delivery.
